Yes, a lease is required to rent a storage unit at our Lager Dr facility, but all of our leases are month-to-month. That means you can rent for as long or as short as you need, with no long-term commitment required.
Our Lager Dr office hours are Monday–Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We're closed on Sundays. You can access your storage unit 7 days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. using our secure gated entry.
To rent a storage unit, you'll need: a valid government-issued photo ID, a payment method for your first month's rent and any applicable fees, a signed rental agreement (online or in person), a lock for your unit, and proof of insurance or enrollment in a Storage Star Protection Plan.
While you can't actively work out of a standard storage unit, our Lager Dr facility welcomes business customers who need space for inventory, equipment, tools, and records — a practical option for contractors and small businesses throughout Champaign.
